I have recently been interested in elucidating how AI models actually make predictions, and if we can leverage our understanding of the model's decision-making process to improve our clinical understanding of the problem at hand as well. I'm excited to share our newest work from this theme, where we explore how multiple instance classifiers 'rank' cell nuclei to predict aggressive prostate cancer!
